Inventory Clerk

Summary of Role:

This position is responsible for pulling parts from inventory and bag for Production orders and identifying part numbers on outside of bags.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communications between MRP, Sales, and Production to expedite orders;
  • Use of e-mail to convey information and requests to Inventory/MRP Manager;
  • Notate part shortages on bins, in SAP and with Purchasing Department;
  • Stock parts into inventory arriving from PFC and other vendors;
  • Assist in the cleanliness of the warehouse;
  • Assist in daily cycle counting physical inventory;
  • Stock all received goods in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Maintain stock location of materials in SAP;
  • Track and store required purchase order paperwork and documentation;
  • Use forklift/Golf Cart for moving and unloading materials;
  • Pull orders accurately and in a timely manner;
  • AAssist other departments as necessary to ensure project flow and completion.

  • Manual dexterity is required for handling small parts;
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities;
  • Able to work independently and with others;
  • Able to work overtime as required;
  • Must be able to pass in-house forklift certification;

Receiving Clerk

Summary of Role:

This position is responsible for maintaining communication between MRP, sales, and production to expedite orders. Responsible for unpacking, inspecting, recording and receiving of incoming shipments, including marketing materials; along with filing of paperwork related to purchase orders, etc.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Use of e-mail to convey information and requests to Inventory/MRP Manager;
  • Notate part shortages on bins, in SAP and with Purchasing Department;
  • Assist in daily cycle counting physical inventory;
  • Use forklift for moving and unloading materials;
  • Assist other departments when necessary to ensure project flow and completion;
  • Develop aptitude to retain knowledge of specific items required by project managers and promptly delivering those specifically-order shipments directly to them for immediate use;
  • Stock all received goods in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Maintain stock location of materials in SAP;
  • Process, receive, inspect and record incoming credit returns, client returns and work with Customer Support;
  • Department on returns;
  • Track and store required purchase order paperwork and documentation;
  • Act as backup to inventory by pulling parts, bagging for Production orders, and identifying part numbers on outside of bags.

Inside Sales Specialist

Summary of Role:

This position handles inquiries from Distributors, Representatives and OEM’s regarding the selection, application and/or pricing of the ProMinent Fluid Controls product line.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Compose quotations for various applications and parts;
  • Communicate routinely with Regional Sales Managers and Corporate Accounts Manager;
  • Maintain Ongoing Knowledge of Distributor/Rep Activity in assigned Regional Manager Territory;
  • Interact with MRP controllers & resolve any outstanding issues and/or problems as needed to expedite delivery of orders;
  • Interact with other departments to assure the timely delivery, service or resolution of complaints;
  • Field simple technical-related questions;
  • Obtaining and routing of lead information to the appropriate Distributors and/or Representatives;
  • Promote and maintain positive customer relations;
  • Contribute to the Success of the Sales Team and meet assigned sales goals;
  • Assist clients with general basic troubleshooting: pump priming, and wiring;
  • Promote and utilize the Pump Replacement Program;
  • Make equipment recommendations to clients.

Summary of Role:

This position handles inquiries from Manufacturer’s and End User Customers regarding the selection, application and/or pricing.

Electrical Controls Engineer

Summary of Role:

This position is responsible for PLC/HMI programming and electrical control panel design for chemical feed and control systems used for water and wastewater treatment systems. Provide the customer with control panels that meet or exceed the UL508a guidelines as directed by the NEC.

Role Responsibilities:

  • PLC and HMI programming
  • Electrical Design of control panels using AUTOCAD Electrical;
  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting control panels and systems;
  • Review consulting engineers’ drawings and specifications;
  • Answer technical questions from consulting engineers, manufacturer’s reps (distributors) or end users regarding product applications, system design;
  • Provide pre-sale electrical drawings to consulting engineers and clients;
  • Assist with Quotes on custom control panels;
  • Develop complete and accurate electrical drawings using ACADE for panels;
  • Participate in Kickoff and Production Readiness meetings to ensure proper design and BOM’s for production of skids and panels;
  • Contribute to success of the engineering team;
  • Act as liaison to UL for the UL508a panel shop.

  • Experience with the NEC, motor controls, fractional HP DC and AC drives, RLL, PLC’s, and process loop controllers;
  • Minimum of five years field experience;
  • PLC ladder logic program development and software knowledge (AB MicroLogix and CompactLogix is most common);
  • Must be able to travel/fly independently to client sites for field work as well as business meetings; possible participation in regional training programs;
  • Ability to work on your own or as a team;

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze mechanical and electro/mechanical system failures and to work with schematic drawings;
  • Excellent understanding of electronics and electrical circuit boards;
